Thursday 10th and Friday 11th December 2009 in St Michael’s Church, Cheriton.

As part of the Cheriton Singers‘ 40th anniversary, The Cheriton Players were invited to take part in their Christmas show to be held on two nights in the church at Cheriton. Paul Hellard directed a delightful, musical version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol as part of the show, and The Cheriton Players provided the acting element for this. The whole show was a great success and a ‘first’ for us to act in a church. Our new rector’s passing comment was that she would always have this image of Mr Scrooge dancing before the altar! Musical Director was Nick Symes.
