The Cheriton Players

November 19, 2014

From Ropley Dramatic Society

Jan Bennett is directing Ropley’s Spring production (18th, 20th and 21st March) – Forget-Me-Knot, a very funny comedy by David Tristram.

She writes “Our problem is a distinct lack of men and I counted eight in your last production that we came to see earlier this year!

“As yet, I have not found any volunteers, but we are having a read-through / informal audition for the play on Tuesday 2nd December (7.30 for 8.00 start, in the Coffee Room, Vicarage Lane, Ropley). I am just wondering if Cheriton has anyone (particularly men) who might be interested in coming along then. We need a playing age of 40s – 50s, but we are very flexible regarding actual ages. Both the male roles are quite demanding, but both are excellent characters and I think the play will be a lot of fun to rehearse. Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Ropley, starting on 15th January.

“I would be very grateful if you could possibly spread the word within your group. If anyone would like further details, perhaps they would e-mail or phone me.

Many thanks.
