BBV Theatre returns to Cheriton, following the successful tour of Charley's Aunt in May, with a modern day take on Dickens' classic – A Christmas Carol. This story of redemption certainly stands the test of time. And we've even thrown in a twist, too.
In May 2017 we welcomed BBV Theatre to Cheriton’s stage as part of their tour of the south with the classic Charley’s Aunt. This was somewhat of a departure for us and we are delighted to say that those who came to see this wonderful production had a real treat. So much so that we have invited BBV back for more in early December just after our main autumn production of The Game’s Afoot.
Anyone who knows the original, classic Dickens novel will find this adaptation to be a faithful (but modern) take on an old and well tested theme. Come along and enjoy a pre-Christmas evening in the company of other theatre lovers, great actors and good friends of Cheriton Players. You will find the same, warm reception as always from our friendly Front of House staff and, of course, the normal licensed bar and ice creams in the interval.
