Curtain Call Awards 2016

Congratulations to nominees David Cradduck, Glynn Williams and David Baldwin for their nominations in the 2016 Curtain Call Awards. And hearty congratulations to David Baldwin for winning Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for his wonderfully touching portrayal of Aylott in A Month of Sundays. At the glittering black tie ceremony in Southampton last week, at which local actress Sarah Parish was the celebrity guest, David’s award was collected by Craig Robb (sadly David was under the weather and too poorly to attend). This makes it three years in a row that Cheriton Players have had three nominations and won at least one of them each time (last year we won two!). Not bad for a small group that only puts on two shows a year.
